Welcome to the First Baptist Church of Oak Park, Michigan's web site. We hope to inform you about our church and what you can find here, along with providing other helpful information.
It is our desire that you feel welcome and that you find our church a friendly place to worship, learn about the Lord Jesus Christ, and fellowship with the Lord's people. As you participate with us, you may be confident that our teaching is based upon the Bible and exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. We invite you to take a few moments to read the summary of our doctrinal statement. If you have any questions, we would enjoy the chance of discussing them with you.
We recognize that the message of the Bible is relevant for all ages. We are excited to be able to provide Bible-based programming for all ages, including: Graded Sunday School classes ages 4 through adult, Beginner and Primary Churches, Jr. and Sr. High youth groups and a Wednesday family night program which incorporates AWANA clubs through sixth grade.
People can successfully face the challenges of our world only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and through the proper application of His Word. Our goal is to help equip our young people to meet those challenges through the power of the Lord.
